About ResellMargin

A free eBay profit and fee calculator built by a reseller, for resellers.

Our mission

I created ResellMargin to help eBay sellers quickly calculate their true take-home pay without the headache of manual fee updates. eBay fees change every year — sometimes mid-year — and pricing a listing based on outdated numbers means leaving money on the table or worse, selling at a loss.

The goal is simple: enter your numbers, see your real net profit, ROI and margin in seconds. No spreadsheets. No guesswork. No sign-up.

Why I built this

As a reseller myself, I noticed how hard it was to track the ever-changing eBay fee categories — the April 2026 fee split, the regulatory operating fee, store-tier discounts, international surcharges, category-specific FVF rates for books, sneakers, jewellery and watches. Most existing calculators were either out-of-date, US-only, or buried profit behind a paywall.

ResellMargin covers 23 countries with up-to-date 2026 rates, sourced directly from official eBay help pages (linked on every fee table for transparency).

How the site stays free

ResellMargin is — and always will be — free for sellers to use. There are no premium tiers, no usage limits, no “sign up to see your profit” popups. The site is supported entirely by unobtrusive ads, served via Google AdSense, that appear above and alongside the calculator and content.

That model lets us keep the calculator open for everyone, fund ongoing fee research, and add features like new countries and category overrides without charging users.

Accuracy and corrections

Fee figures reflect publicly announced 2026 eBay rates. Every country page links to the official eBay source for that market. Mistakes happen — if you spot one, report it on the contact page and we’ll fix it within 24 hours.

For estimation only — always verify with eBay before finalising pricing on high-value listings.
